The General Nursing programme provides you with a practically oriented bachelor's education for subsequent practice of the health profession without professional supervision. The study programme is designed in accordance with Directive 2005/36/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council on the recognition of professional qualifications in the provision of services and provides you as a graduate with the basic prerequisites to practice a regulated profession in the European Union.
Applications should only be submitted electronically via the e-application application. The admission fee is 650,- CZK and must be paid no later than the closing date for applications of the given round (if you do not enrol, the fee will not be refunded). Further payment instructions (account number, variable symbol) find in the online application. The fee must be paid again for each round of admissions.
Applications in the 2nd and 3rd supplementary rounds will be allowed only if the number of admitted candidates is not already filled in the 1st basic round of admissions.
A list of the courses you will take during your studies can be found in the Curriculum tab below on this page.
The student must successfully complete all compulsory courses during the course of his/her studies (in the case of a language variation of the same course, it is sufficient to complete only one of the variations).
In the case of compulsory electives, this obligation applies only to the self-selected group of courses. However, it is a condition for obtaining the minimum number of credits specified in the accreditation of the study programme.
NOTE: In the combined form of study, English 1 - 4 is not a compulsory subject, only a compulsory elective.
The full-time study also includes a long-term internship (57 weeks).
Instruction in the combined mode of study is delivered exclusively on Saturdays. Each semester requires attendance on approximately twelve to fourteen teaching Saturdays
