Scope

This leveling course is aimed at reviewing selected chapters in statistics that prove to be problematic in practice or crucial for further study. Emphasis is placed on a systematic understanding of basic statistical concepts, correct interpretation of results, and practice of typical problems. The lessons take the form of active work of students in order to consolidate knowledge and eliminate the most common difficulties.

For whom

This course is intended primarily for applicants to our follow-up Master's study programme, both graduates of our Bachelor's study programme and students coming from other universities. It is suitable for all those who want to consolidate and strengthen their knowledge of statistics before starting their Master's degree.

Goal

The aim of the course is to deepen understanding of key statistical methods, remove any confusion and strengthen the ability to analyse and interpret data correctly.

How the course works

Each session lasts approximately 120 minutes. The introductory part is devoted to an explanation of the selected topic and then practice of basic examples, focusing on a thorough understanding of the material discussed and its context.
