OP Research, Development and Education

The Operational Programme Research, Development and Education (OP RDI) is a multiannual thematic programme under the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports, under which it is possible to draw financial resources from the European Structural and Investment Funds (ESIF) in the programming period 2014-2020.

Priority axes of the OPIE

PO1: Strengthening capacities for quality research (ERDF) - aimed at achieving excellence in Czech research on an international scale, improving research collaboration, improving infrastructural conditions for training future researchers

PO2: Development of universities and human resources for research and development (ERDF/ESF) - aimed at improving the quality and openness of education in universities together with improving the strategic management of universities, developing human resources for research and development, including support for research-related teaching, improving infrastructural conditions for improving the quality and openness of education in universities

PO3: Equal access to quality pre-school, primary and secondary education (ESF) - focusing on education for social integration of children and pupils with special educational needs (SEN), improving the quality of pre-school education including facilitating the transition of children to primary school, improving the quality of education and results in key competences, developing strategic management and quality assessment in education, improving the preparation of future and aspiring teaching staff, improving the quality of education and training including strengthening their relevance for the labour market.
