Due to a high level of staff illness in the canteen kitchen, the menu may change and lunch service may be slower than usual in the coming days. Thank you for your understanding.

Canteen services

We provide meals not only to students and staff of the college but also to businesses and members of the public.

You can also take away the main meal you have ordered. All you need to do is to purchase a disposable menu box in advance from the canteen office at a cost of CZK 5 and the serving window staff will then dispense the main course into it.

Information for students

• Students are entitled to two subsidised hot meals per day, therefore each student can order two lunches per day (in any combination) as a substitute for dinner. A student may eat one meal in the cafeteria at any time during serving hours and may take away the second meal in a container they bring between 1 p.m. and 2 p.m.
• Lunches are paid for in cash (minimum deposit is 100 CZK) at the canteen office during lunch times or by transfer to the school's special bank account (the procedure is explained below).
• On graduation, the student can collect the unspent cash at the canteen office if he/she wishes.
  
  

Information for foreign boarders and those interested in boarding

• An individual interested in boarding may register in person at the canteen.
• The boarder makes a cash deposit into an account set up for him/her, from which he/she deducts the value of the lunches taken. Lunches are paid for in cash at the canteen office at the time of lunches or by transfer to the school's special bank account (the procedure is explained below).
• Companies may provide meals for their staff by prior arrangement with the head of Specialized Facilities Management.

Contact the canteen operations officer by e-mail or telephone to cancel and, in exceptional cases, to order lunches.

Lunch ordering, payment and dispensing

The canteen will issue lunches ordered online or in person in the canteen no later than 1.30 pm on the previous working day (lunches for Monday must be ordered on Friday).

Lunch can be cancelled on the day of serving until 8.00 a.m. by calling 567 141 208 or emailing menza@vspj.cz

Payment procedure by bank transfer to the school bank account

1. Sign in to the iCanteen app (lunch ordering) at https://icanteen.vspj.cz
2. In the "settings" section, you will find the bank details (account no. and variable symbol) to be used for all payments to the canteen.
3. NOTICE - the account number for lunch payments is different from the school's current account.
4. Then enter this information into the payment order in your online banking or physically at the bank counter.
5. The payment will be credited to your canteen account within three working days.
6. You can verify the receipt of your payment in the iCanteen app in the "payments" section.
7. Unless the payment is credited to your canteen account, the amount cannot be disposed of.
8. Foreign boarders must come to the canteen office to report their variable symbol.
