Clinical Practice Mentor in Nursing and Midwifery

• What will graduates gain?

Professional qualifications: Certificate of special professional competence as a clinical practice mentor, accredited by the Ministry of Health of the Czech Republic.

Teaching skills: The ability to effectively lead, motivate and pass on experience to adult students.

Assessment skills: Knowledge of how to objectively coordinate, supervise and assess students’ practical skills.

Psychological training: Skills for managing communication in crisis situations and guiding newcomers through the adaptation process. 

• Scope of the training

60 hours: Theoretical and theoretical-practical teaching (pedagogy, andragogy, psychology, legislation).

40 hours: Supervised professional placement directly at clinical sites.

Course completion: Final examination, which includes the defence of the final dissertation. []

The maximum capacity for a single run of the training is 25 participants.
