The Polytechnic Academy of VSPJ offers a continuing education program to deepen and broaden professional competencies (upskilling):

Sustainability and Circular Economy

The curriculum was developed under the NATIONAL RENEWAL PLAN project (NPO_MSMT-2135/2024-4); 7.4 Promoting a green skills sustainability strategy in education at the VŠPJ.

The "Sustainability and Circular Economy" programme is a comprehensive lifelong learning course aimed at developing expertise and practical skills in sustainable development, economic and social sustainability and circular economy principles. The course provides participants with a systematic view of global and local sustainability challenges and equips them with the tools to implement sustainable strategies in the business sector, public administration and non-profit organizations.

The programme is structured in three modules that progressively deepen the participants' knowledge - from the basic principles of sustainability and strategic planning, through economic and social aspects, to the application of circular models in practice. The course combines theoretical lectures, case studies and practical assignments, enabling participants not only to acquire the necessary knowledge but also to use it effectively in their professional activities.

Programme graduates will be able to analyse the impacts of sustainable policies, design strategies for resource efficiency and apply circular economy principles in different sectors. The course is designed for managers, sustainable development experts, public administration staff and other professionals who want to gain professional competences in the field of sustainable development and circular economy.
