Operational Programme Education for Competitiveness

The purpose of this project is to ensure the quality of professional preparation of students, to ensure compliance of theoretical teaching with the needs of practice and also to ensure the best possible employability of graduates on the labour market. The project includes the creation of a common tool for recording and controlling the quality, progress and outcomes of students' internships, including monitoring their impact on the topics of bachelor theses and students' employment after graduation. Another objective is to increase partnership interaction between academics, practice administrators, employers and public and professional institutions and organisations, including the establishment of agreements on a system of cooperation between the school, professional groups and individual companies and organisations in ensuring the course of practice placements, their evaluation and the projection of knowledge into the content of teaching. The project will enable the establishment of a long-term and systematic monitoring of the impact of work experience on the practical life of students.

My Practice

The aim of the project is to increase mutual cooperation between the participating partners and possibly other entities and to create a network between universities, higher vocational schools of the Vysočina region and the private and public sector in order to improve the transfer of knowledge between tertiary education institutions and the application sphere. Seminars/panel discussions will be held within the project (students and academic and teaching staff of the VŠPJ and partners will participate). The target groups should gain knowledge from the application sphere and the educational sphere. In addition, conferences on topics of interest to the various fields of study of the VŠPJ will be held, a web portal and a contact centre will be created.

The aim of the project is to innovate the study field of tourism leading to improved employability of students in the labour market through better quality education, which will be achieved by introducing new subjects into the curriculum, modifying the current curriculum of some subjects, updating the topics and approach to teaching, developing the previously missing study texts, providing the necessary teaching aids by integrating IT and multimedia content into the teaching, partnering with potential employers and organisations that provide students' internships.

The aim of the project is to improve the education of students and improve the quality of teaching of subjects through the creation of e-learning support, which will be gradually introduced into individual courses of study at the Polytechnic University of Jihlava. One of the objectives is to adapt the e-learning system to the conditions of the VŠPJ and the information system. The main objective of the project is then to train the staff of the VŠPJ in the development of e-learning support, which will be related to the introduction of e-learning support in individual subjects of study fields, on the basis of which students will be able to obtain further education and also to pass interim and final tests via the Internet.
