Selection procedure for filling academic staff positions at the Department of Technical Studies of the College of Polytechnics Jihlava

The Rector of the College of Polytechnics Jihlava hereby announces, in accordance with Section 77 of Act No. 111/1998 Coll., on Higher Education Institutions and on Amendments and Supplements to Other Acts (the Higher Education Act), as amended, and the Regulations on the Selection Procedure for Filling Academic Posts at College of Polytechnics Jihlava, a selection procedure to fill the following academic posts*:

Department of Technical Studies

Positions: Professor, Associate Professor, Senior Lecturer, Lecturer for teaching courses focused on:

• programming and software engineering, web and desktop applications
• databases, data structures and algorithms
• computer networks, cyber security and cloud engineering
• computer engineering, computer graphics and multimedia, image processing
• artificial intelligence and machine learning
• data analytics
• electrical engineering and electronics, high-voltage electrical engineering
• mechanical engineering – design, CAD systems, technical drawing, manufacturing technology
• mechanics, elasticity and strength of materials, fluid mechanics and thermodynamics, the finite element method in mechanics and CFD
• materials science – metallic materials, composites
• automated control, industrial automation, PLC programming and IoT
• robotics, mechatronics, Industry 4.0

Requirements for all advertised positions:

• Habilitation (Professor, Associate Professor), a PhD (Assistant Lecturer), or a completed Master’s degree (Lecturer)
