HR Award: Organisational Arrangements

Winning and retaining the HR Award is not a matter for a single department, but a process that affects the entire VŠPJ. In order to create an open, transparent and internationally comparable working environment for research and academic staff, the entire academic community and the administration are involved in the preparations.

To ensure the effective management of the entire process, an organisational framework has been established comprising a steering group, an implementation team and a working group. Their joint task is to link the university’s strategic direction, professional and administrative support, and the practical experience of researchers from all departments at VŠPJ.

1. Steering Group

The steering group comprises members of VŠPJ’s senior management. It provides strategic leadership for the preparation of the HR Award, sets priorities and creates the conditions for the involvement of individual departments within the university.

2. Implementation Team

The implementation team collects and processes supporting documents, organises consultations and prepares draft documents. It ensures the completeness and consistency of the process description, the GAP analysis, the OTM-R checklist and the action plan. It ensures the flow of information between the groups involved and prepares materials for discussion.

3. Working Group

The working group brings to the preparation of the HR Award the experience of academic and research staff from individual departments and at various stages of their research careers. It contributes to the assessment of the university’s current environment and to the formulation of measures that will meet the actual needs of staff.
