The Steering Group, Implementation Team and Working Group cooperate in the preparation process. Their common task is to connect the strategic direction of the College, the professional and administrative management of the process, and the experience of researchers from individual departments.

1. Steering Group

The Steering Group consists of members of the VŠPJ senior management. It provides strategic leadership for the HR Award preparation process, sets priorities and creates conditions for the involvement of individual organisational units of the College.

Responsibilities of the Implementation Team

The Implementation Team collects and processes supporting materials, organises consultations and prepares draft documents. It monitors the completeness and mutual consistency of the Process Description, Gap Analysis, OTM-R Checklist and Action Plan. It ensures the exchange of information between the groups involved and prepares materials for their discussion.

3. Working Group

The Working Group brings to the HR Award preparation process the experience of academic staff and researchers from individual departments and from different stages of research careers. It contributes to the assessment of the current environment at the College and to the formulation of measures that reflect the actual needs of staff.

Responsibilities of the Working Group

The Working Group contributes in particular to:

assessment of the current situation: it comments on the results of the questionnaire survey and other supporting materials and helps to distinguish between how the rules are formally established and how they operate in practice;
preparation of the Gap Analysis: it identifies strengths and areas for improvement in relation to the principles of the European Charter for Researchers;
development of the Action Plan: it proposes specific measures, helps to determine their priorities and assesses their benefits and feasibility from the perspective of individual departments and career profiles;
engagement of the research community: it communicates suggestions and feedback from colleagues and provides feedback on the documents being prepared, including the principles of open, transparent and merit-based recruitment.
