DEVELOPMENT IN DISTANCE LEARNING, ONLINE LEARNING AND BLENDED LEARNING

Specific objective A2 is focused on the preparation of methodological materials and methodological support and training of academic staff and students who actively use or want to use digital forms of learning, as well as on the innovation of existing or creation of new digital learning materials that will be an integral part of the learning support in LMS Moodle.

 Project Objectives and Outcomes:

1)    Creation of instructional videos

 On the basis of the tender "Production of 50 audio-visual instructional videos", HOFO Media Group, Ltd. was selected as the best company on 11/05/2023

The shooting of the videos took place in the period June - August 2023, a total of 50 background videos were shot for the subsequent processing of 50 instructional videos:

• June 14, 2023 7 foundation videos filmed
• 29 June 2023 10 baseline videos filmed
• 18 July 2023 11 video basics filmed
• 19 July 2023 11 video basics filmed
• 31 Aug 2023 11 video basics filmed

As of mid-August 2023, editing of filmed footage is underway.

2)    Provision of methodological support for online, hybrid and distance learning

      I.           On 20 January 2023, a workshop for academics was held on the topic of  Didactics of creating functional audiovisual teaching aids.

Lecturer: Ing. Kateřina Berková, Ph.D.

Objective:

• To introduce participants to the didactic principles for the creation of audiovisual teaching aids (Concept and classification of audiovisual teaching aids. Why is planning the learning path so important? Formats of instructional videos. What components of a didactic system should not be forgotten when creating instructional videos?)
• share good practice and participants' experiences with distance learning and the creation of audiovisual teaching aids
• discuss participants' requirements for the production of instructional videos

     II.           On 10. On May 10, 2023 the second interactive seminar for academic staff on the topic of Creating Educational Videos for University Teaching

Lecturer. Vojtěch Votýpka

Objective:

• to familiarize the present teaching staff with the process and possibilities of creating scripts and shooting educational videos
• AP will thereby enrich its teaching with new educational teaching methods in the form of accompanying educational videos.

    III.         On May 26, 2023, an online meeting was held with representatives of HOFO Media Group, Ltd. to create the videos.

Lecturers: Jan Formánek - executive and owner of HOFO Media Group, s.r.o, Stepan Zálešák - advertising director of HOFO Media Group s.r.o. 

Objective:

• To acquaint academic staff (video makers) with the requirements of HOFO Media Group, s.r.o. for background materials for videos and with preparation before shooting
• Answer questions from video creators

  IV.           On July 17, 2023, an online meeting was held with representatives from HOFO Media Group, Ltd. to edit the basics of the videos filmed.

Members of the meeting were Jan Formánek - executive director and owner of HOFO Media Group, s.r.o, Stepan Zálešák - advertising director of HOFO Media Group s.r.o. 

Objective:

• To acquaint academic staff (video makers) with the requirements of HOFO Media Group, s.r.o. to mark edits to already filmed video basics and to complete background materials
• Answer questions from video creators

3)    Innovating e-courses in LMS Moodle

 S With regard to the expansion of digital learning materials and the use of LMS Moodle in the teaching of combined and full-time studies, modifications are being made to e-courses in LMS Moodle, in particular:

• adjustment of the template used by VŠPJ for all its e-courses
• innovating teaching materials by including videos and video recordings of lectures
• innovating the content of e-courses (expanding the glossary, index, interactive elements)
• interconnection of the school information system, accreditation files and LMS Moodle
