EDUCATIONAL TOPICS

First Module is dedicated to the basics of sustainability.

-Bloc 1.1 participants will learn about (in)sustainable development, the main pillars of sustainability and the concept of "living with dignity within the limits of our planet". The 2030 Agenda Global Goals (SDGs) and an introduction to the role of a sustainability manager are also presented.

- Block 1.2 focuses on the policy and regulatory frameworks that influence sustainable business, including the differences between mandatory and voluntary measures and key international, European and national strategies.

- Block 1.3 is dedicated to stakeholder engagement as a strategic tool for sustainability management, including the identification, prioritization and meaningful engagement of stakeholders.

Second Module focuses on the practical aspects of ESG reporting and communication.

- Block 2.2 introduces the purpose and benefits of ESG reporting, key regulatory frameworks (CSRD/ESRS, CSDDD, EU Taxonomy) and voluntary standards (GRI, ISSB).

- Block 2.3 focuses on the principles of transparent sustainability communication, the risks of greenwashing and legal requirements in the EU and the Czech Republic.

Module Three connects sustainability with corporate strategy and practical management.

-Block 3.2 focuses on the role of leadership in sustainability management, the competencies of leaders, and the challenges associated with organizational transformation.

-Block 3.3 concludes the course by linking all elements into ESG risk management, helping to integrate sustainability into an organization's daily practices.
