Marek Ženíšek, Minister for Science and Research, visited VŠPJ
Marek Ženíšek, Minister for Science and Research, spent part of the morning on Wednesday 19 June 2024 at the College of Polytechnics Jihlava. The visit preceded a meeting of the Czech government in Havlíčkův Brod, which was linked to a discussion on the Dukovany power plant and subsidies.
Minister Ženíšek met with the Vice-Rector for Studies Ing. Martina Kuncová, Ph.D., and the Head of the Department of Technical Studies doc. Ing. Radek Kolman, Ph.D. Together with them, he also toured the laboratories of the Department of Technical Studies, including the 3D printing laboratory and the cyber-physical factory in the basement of the VŠPJ Learning Centre. He also visited the recently opened simulation room of the delivery room of the Department of Medical Studies equipped with the latest hospital equipment, where students can try out real procedures on real devices.
