Night of Scientists at the University of Applied Sciences recorded record attendance

Already a secondé has opened its široké premises to the public during the Noci of Scientists Highá škola polytechnická Jihlava. In pátek 30th ofárowíthere was a scientific-popularizationí event, itsárichý program on téma „Všemi senses“ included more than 40 activities. During the evening, 700 návšt participants in all age categories arrived to learn about science, twice as many as during last year's first annual event. They could choose from differentýactivities ranging from measuringý hearing with specialáln´ applications, a childrený corner with boardýgames and kaleidoscope making, tasting insects, seeing the insects;classroom tours, 3D printing, slalom with drunkýbrýle, to&scaronášálení of&the&senses&using&charts&and&statistics&to&art&therapy&workshops&or&quality&of&movement&measurements. S greatý ofá interest were alsoé activities of the TyfloCentre Jihlava, a non-profité organization providingá services to the visually impairedý whichá prepared sound shooting, sniffing and walking with aá loudá and a guide. In Jihlava, besides VŠPJ, two otherší institutions participated in the Night of Scientists. Observationsá of the Sun and the night sky at the Brá of the Mother of Godí were presented by the Jihlava Astronomicalá Society, itsíTheá physicsá experiments wereá available forá visitorsá to see before entering the Vý learningá centre of VŠPJ. For the first time, Gymnasium Jihlava participated in the Night of Scientists.
