JOBSTART 2024: Career opportunities at your fingertips

At the three-day job and internship fair JOBSTART 2024, more than fifty representatives of promising regional companies and companies with a national reach across market sectors presented themselves at the VŠPJ Education Centre. The exhibitors appreciated the proactive approach of the participants, talked to them about career opportunities, deepening potential or existing cooperation, current trends and challenges of the labour market.

The individual fair days were divided thematically. On Tuesday 19 November, for example, regional and regional hospitals, insurance companies and institutions providing social counselling and care were presented. Wednesday, November 20, belonged to companies in the economic sector and tourism, while Thursday, November 21, was the learning centre for industry and technology.

As part of the varied accompanying programme, participants tried mock interviews, got a taste of career counselling, learned proven tips and tricks to cope with stress, consulted on joining upcoming Erasmus programmes or listened to a lecture on the career path of the VŠPJ graduates. Participants were rewarded for their proactivity.

Over and above the programme, a round table discussion was also held, where, among other things, the strengthening of the position of the German language and its use in the regional labour market was discussed.

Among the exhibitors were also strategic partners of the VŠPJ - Statutární město Jihlava, GORDIC spol. s r.o., OPTOKON, a.s. and partners of the VŠPJ - Bosch Powertrain s.r.o. or MEDIN, a.s.
