Business in cyberspace is more than a fashion trend today | Ing. Dagmar Frendlovská, Ph.D.

Format: Lecture

Objective: The aim of the lecture is to introduce the participants to the basics of the modern form of commerce in cyberspace.

Scope: The scope is to highlight the necessities of cyberspace, its nature and functions, its models, its features and applications, to highlight consumer behaviour and elements that are found not only in doing business in virtual environments. The richness of cyberspace has not yet been properly discovered, so more information on the subject will be outlined to the participants.

Strengthen your financial literacy, aka Financial literacy for those who know that the rich are not those who have a lot of money | Ing. Lenka Lízalová, Ph.D.

Form: Seminar

Objective: To enhance the financial literacy of secondary school students

Scope:

Theoretical Part - Students will be given guidance on how to understand personal finance and how to handle it properly in different life situations. In this lecture, students will hear the basic concepts of financial literacy and the principles of dealing with debt and savings. The 10 principles of financial literacy will give them tips on how to properly manage their money.

Practical part - If students are interested in the topic and decide to start strengthening their financial literacy individually, after the educational part of the course, they will be recommended to play the online game FinGR Play, which is a practical activity in which students will check the correctness of their financial decisions and actions in situations that occur in everyday life. The game covers the very basics of financial literacy and helps reinforce good financial decision-making attitudes.
