Let's play sports with VŠPJ attracted hundreds of sports lovers to Jihlava square

Participants from the general public could try archery, climbing wall, bench press, but also less common activities such as biathlon shooting range or baseball batting during the day. A big draw was the human table football tournament, which pitted teams from high schools and various institutions against each other. The winner among the high school students was the Jihlava high school team, which received the traveling cup from the hands of the Vice-Rector for Internal, External and International Relations, Prof. Vaclav Baca. The students of the College of Polytechnics Jihlava won the institutional tournament.

After the tournament, passers-by could also try out the big table football. The whole event lasted from 11 am to 5 pm and involved students of the College of Polytechnics Jihlava involved in the UNIS program, which promotes the combination of studies and sports career.

The Sports with VŠPJ 2025 event was supported by the Statutory City of Jihlava.
