VŠPJ CUP 2025 - International Baseball Tournament honoured the memory of Rector Ladislav Jirků

Teams from the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Austria participated in the tournament. After exciting matches, which offered not only sporting commitment but also an excellent atmosphere, the traveling cup was finally taken by the team Rytíři Trutnov.

The home team Ježci Jihlava finished in an excellent second place, confirming their quality and fighting to the last pitch thanks to the strong support of the fans. The tournament brought many great moments - from perfect fielding to dramatic turnovers in the score.

The tournament was held with the financial support of the Statutory City of Jihlava, which we thank for its long-term cooperation and support not only for the sporting activities of the VŠPJ.

The event contributed not only to honouring the memory of Rector Jirků, but also to connecting academia with sport, youth and international cooperation. We hope that the tournament will become a solid tradition and a platform for teams and baseball fans from different parts of Central Europe to come together.
