The study program Applied Technology for Industrial Practice provides you with a practically oriented master's degree in engineering, electrical engineering, control automation and electronically controlled mechanical systems, with a particular focus on the design and manufacturing technology of products made from advanced materials. During your studies you will be equipped with the necessary knowledge and practical skills in a range of specialist subjects such as mechanics of bodies and systems, fluid mechanics and thermomechanics, mechatronic systems and robotics, applied finite element methods, fundamentals of automation and Industry 4.0, fundamentals of computer science and, last but not least, fundamentals of management and project management. The curriculum is strongly practically oriented so that students gain a deeper knowledge and connection between theory and its implementation in practical problem solving during their studies.

Applications should only be submitted electronically via the e-applicationThe admission fee is 650,- CZK and must be paid no later than the closing date for applications of the given round (if you do not enrol, the fee will not be refunded). Further payment instructions (account number, variable symbol) find it in the electronic application. The fee must be paid again for each round of admissions.

  • achievement of a bachelor's degree in a technical field (successful completion of the state final examination at the university),
  • eligibility to study, evidenced by a motivation letter which will include:
    • a concise justification of interest in studying in the Applied Technology for Industrial Practice programme at the Jihlava Polytechnic University (max. 20 points),
    • description of the relationship between the bachelor's programme/field of study completed and the programme to which the applicant is applying (max. 15 points),
    • a summary of the core courses taken during the Bachelor's degree (relevant to the programme to which the applicant is applying) (max. 15 points).
