| The aim of the course is to provide students with basic facts about distributions of continuous random variables, especially uniform and normal distribution. Next topics are random sampling from normal distribution, statistical point and interval estimation and testing of hypotheses. Next part of the course is devoted to linear regression, correlation and time series including decomposition and trend and seasonality observation. The MS Excel software will be used for computation. |
